Today we get to introduce Stephen Andrew Cook on our Meet Us Monday.
Stephen was a late addition to our cast, as he kindly stepped up to replace an actor at the last minute and we are so glad that he did. You might recognize Stephen as one of the irrepressible Cadets of Gascony from our Cyrano de Bergerac and he is bringing that same joyful spirit to his role as Giuseppe the Tavern Keeper.
What is even more delightful is that Stephen brings a wealth of real world experience to his role considering that he is a fantastic cook and professional cheese maker in his non-theater life.
Stephen has appeared in many theatrical productions, often Shakespeare, in the Austin area, most recently as Hotspur in The Baron’s Men’s Henry IV Part One, and as Berowne in the same’s Love’s Labour’s Lost. The proud father of two youngsters, he is a graduate of the Texas State Department of Theatre and Dance. Steve is absolutely thrilled to be a part of the of The Archive Theater Co., and would like to thank the founders as well as all the amazing people bringing The Man of Destiny to life from behind the scenes.
