We would like to take a moment today to thank a few people who are incredibly special to us.

The first is our Advisory Board Member Joe Stephenson. Joe was the first person to donate to The Archive Theater after its formation at the end of last year. This is not the first time that Joe has been at the front of the line to support our efforts. He was, in fact, one of the first people to spend significant time and effort mentoring our translator Jennifer Rose Davis through her initial Cyrano drafts, and he has poured love, time, work, and now money into seeing this dream come to fruition.

We are incredibly grateful for his support, and for his donation. His gift will make it possible for us to create the elegant costumes used in Cyrano de Bergerac, which will then be reworked and multiplied to use in bringing to life The Dutch Lady, a previously unknown 17th century play for which Joe discovered the sole extant manuscript.

All those in Austin theater who have benefitted from Joe's incredible generosity of spirit, please join us in thanking him.
