Today we learned how to use the industrial leather sewing machine by making two leather jerkins. We created an assembly line process where Jennifer Davis was cutting the leather, while Katy Thompson was gluing the pieces together, and Star Maddox was sewing the seams. These doublets will most likely end up on the hundred ruffians who fight Cyrano at the Port-de-Nesle as well as making appearances in later shows.
